The Associate Athletic Director will manage the Marketing, Trademarks and Licensing, Brand Development, Stakeholder Outreach, Advertising and Game Day Experience for the Athletic Department and its 22 sport teams. Additionally, the Associate AD for Marketing will be one of the department’s liaisons with adidas and also oversee the department’s in-venue video production and streaming efforts. This position reports to the Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Relations and will serve on the department’s Senior Leadership Team.

Marketing:
The Associate Athletic Director for Marketing works closely with the Content Strategy Office, Ticket Office, Tyee Club Office and external vendors to develop marketing plans for the Department, with an emphasis on Football and Men’s Basketball.  The above-mentioned team is responsible for focusing marketing efforts on the following audiences: season ticket holders, supporters, potential ticket buyers, students, faculty and staff.

This position serves as the Department’s liaison to external creative agencies as well as all local and national media buys. The Associate Athletic Director oversees the budgets for Marketing and Advertising and directs the development and implementation of marketing plans for the remaining 20 sports.

Brand Development:
The Associate Athletic Director for Marketing oversees all of the Department’s branding efforts.  This includes all facility branding (indoor/outdoor), working with campus on all athletics-related approval on Trademarks & Licensing and merchandise design, as well as branded sponsorship activation and printed pieces. 

Game Day Experience:
The Associate Athletic Director for Marketing manages the Game Day Experience team that produces and facilitates all game day presentations for sports with video board elements.
