Position Summary

The Department of Physics and Earth-Space Science at the University of Indianapolis invites applications for an Associate Adjunct of Physics position to begin August 2017. This is a part-time, nine-month position with partial benefits.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will teach up to 21 hours of introductory physics courses. The ability to teach some advanced physics or astronomy courses will be viewed favorably. Experience with PBL, PER, and undergraduate student research are very attractive and align well with current departmental priorities. We are particularly interested in candidates with demonstrated experience developing and practicing teaching strategies that actively engage students both inside and outside the classroom.

Special Instructions to Applicants Required Education/Experience/Skills (Minimum Qualifications)

A master’s degree in physics is required.
