Job Description:
The Associate Marketing & Communications Director combines strategic marketing  communications, project management and collaboration skills to develops and oversee implementation of relevant and compelling strategic marketing campaigns and materials that support the Advancement and college-level  initiatives at Fisher College of Business, including alumni and donor engagement, college reputation projects, and stewardship; works collaboratively with Fisher’s advancement team, college partners and Centers to create actionable strategies to engage external stakeholders such as alumni, donors, and friends of the college; prospective students; corporate partners. Oversees project managers manages integrated alumni and donor marketing and communications initiatives from ideation to implementation include, but not limited to: website, social media, email, print, and digital communications, event support; provides support to other marketing and communications initiatives across the college

to drive forward advancement and external outreach and engagement priorities for the college.

This position must have a subject matter expertise in marketing communications, project management and external stakeholder management and program management, and advancement strategies in higher education. This role partners with Fisher’s Office of Advancement, the Research Centers of Excellence, and other Fisher offices and units to lead marketing communications efforts to actively engage nearly 100,000 alumni, friends, donors, prospective students and industry partners of the college.

The Associate Marketing and Communications Director supervises marketing communications specialists and oversee project management needs.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or related field of study, or equivalent experience. 6 years of relevant experience required. 8-12 years of relevant experience preferred.  Requires an understanding of marketing, communications and project management strategies, best practices, software solutions and other project management tools. 

Desired Experience8-12 years of relevant experience preferred.  Demonstrated experience developing brand, marketing, and communication strategies; ability to think creatively and strategically, while being detail oriented and following a project from ideation through implementation; expert project management skills, the ability to balance and prioritize multiple work streams and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met, and the ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment; ability, work experience, and knowledge of design principles; professional demeanor and customer service mindset, including the ability to build collaborative working relationships; experience working on a small, collaborative team with limited resources to execute team goals.


Additional Information:

The target hiring range for this job profile is $79,000 – $105,500. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
