Job Description
Serves as the Associate Director of Academic Operations and manages academic processes for the Fisher College of Business Undergraduate Programs Office (e.g. assists Executive Director and Associate Dean with enrollment planning forecasting in partnership with campus offices, Fisher Department Chairs, and the Director of Undergraduate Admissions, responds to internal and external inquiries for undergraduate programs data, creates and manages enrollment reporting, oversees creation and management of schedule of classes in partnership with Graduate Programs Office and the Office of Executive Education, manages curriculum and course approval process for the college, etc.). Collaborates with academic departments on course planning process, including room and time assignments, delivery mode, and other course planning matters. Provides direct supervision and oversight of operations staff and student employees and oversees 120 Schoenbaum reception services. Leads undergraduate scholarship committee and oversee Fisher undergraduate scholarship program. Partners with Advancement, academic departments, Financial Aid, and college and campus offices to administer Fisher scholarship program. Serves as unit liaison to Facilities and Information Technology. Manages Undergraduate Programs document retention and communications systems, including website updates, shared drives, OneDrive, and Teams usage. Supports other College offices and initiatives as needed. Serves on College and University committees. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 7 years’ experience working in higher education including providing management and oversight of academic programs and supervisory experience. Ability to work cooperatively and strategically across functions, levels and departments/units/offices. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with diverse internal and external constituents. Demonstrated public speaking skills. Ability to manage multiple assignments with competing deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the proven ability to problem solve. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability lead team and delegate tasks. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and stakeholders. Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and uphold confidentiality.

Desired Qualifications

Master’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience; Experience working in academic environment; Experience with computer productivity software, internet and university Student Information System (SIS), resources and curriculum; Knowledge of college student development; Knowledge of OSU academic policies and procedures.


Additional Information:

The target hiring range for this job profile is $79,000 - $105,000. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limit to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc
