Job Summary:
Assists the director with operational management and administrative activities in the School of Computing Sciences and Computer Engineering.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or education from an Accredited College or University and 3-4 years of experience in a secondary or post-secondary educational environment.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, professional demeanor, integrity, tact, and good judgment;
- Ability to interact professionally using excellent customer service skills with potential students, students, faculty, and staff in a team environment;
- Ability to work with diverse populations;
- Ability to maintain and manage highly sensitive and confidential information and communications with discretion and integrity;
- Strong project management and time management skills, highly detail-oriented and with strong organizational skills;
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Proven execution of standard office administrative practices and procedures with a focus on efficiency and process improvement;
- Demonstrated supervisory and
personnel management skills;
Preferred Qualifications
One or more years of experience supervising hourly or salaried employees.
