Assistant Teaching Professor, Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Bowling Green State University. Full-time, academic year, one-year nonrenewable contract. Competitive salary with full benefits. Duties include: Teach Quantitative Reasoning (QR), our quantitative literacy course, and possibly other mathematics and statistics courses, depending on qualifications and department need; provide service to the department, college, and university. Minimum qualifications: Master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, or in a closely related field (e.g., mathematics education) conferred at the time of application; experience teaching quantitative literacy as a TA or instructor of record. Preferred qualification: Experience teaching in a Mathematics Emporium; experience teaching online courses. Starting date: August 23, 2021.
