Position Summary
The Department of Medicine, Division of Clinical Pharmacology at the Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) is seeking a passionate and proactive individual to perform analysis of single cell sequencing, DNA methyl-seq, ATAC-seq, and spatial transcriptomics. The division is looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and organized researcher interested in working within an exciting and dynamic multidisciplinary team.
This researcher will interact with and help to oversee trainees and will work in collaboration with other lab staff, postdoctoral fellows, students, and faculty. Competitive individuals will have a proven history of data analysis and an ability to draft scientific manuscripts. Expertise in mathematical modeling of whole genome methylation patterns, the molecular biology of phytochemicals such as cannabidiol, and the molecular regulation of fibrosis in the kidney are recommended.
The Division of Clinical Pharmacology conducts groundbreaking translational research in the area of drug discovery and development, drug interactions, and genomic variants that impact therapeutic effectiveness. Education:
