Description: The University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC), Department of Clinical Laboratory Sciences invites applications for a 12-month, full-time position (instructor to associate professor; rank to be commensurate with education and credentials). The successful candidate will primarily contribute to the department's teaching and may also contribute to development of clinical service missions, although some scholarship is expected for promotion. Primary teaching responsibilities include cytotechnology instruction for students in the Master of Cytopathology Practice (MCP) program, and additional teaching responsibilities as assigned and appropriate to individual expertise. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in scholarship and service relevant to the college, the department, and the profession.

Required Qualifications
1. Master's degree, with intent to pursue a doctoral degree
2. Cytotechnology certification: CT(ASCP)
3. Minimum three years clinical teaching experience in cytotechnology

Preferred Qualifications
1. Doctoral level degree
2. Specialist in Cytotechnology certification: SCT(ASCP)
3. Certification in Histotechnology: HTL(ASCP)
