Position Summary
The Economics Department of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invites applications in any area of economics for a tenure-track position at the assistant-professor level. The successful candidate will demonstrate the capacity for high-quality research and teaching.  Duties will include research, teaching, and service. We will consider applicants completing their graduate degree as well as those with experience in academic and other research settings. To be hired in at the Assistant Professor position, a completed Ph.D. in Economics is required by 1 July 2022. An initial appointment of Instructor is applied to a successful candidate who expects to complete the Ph.D. by 1 July 2023.
