Position Qualification


Position Summary
The Munroe-Meyer Institute (MMI) for Genetics and Rehabilitation at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in Omaha is currently accepting applications for a faculty position in the Department of Pediatric Feeding Disorders as an Assistant Professor. Minimum requirements are a doctoral degree in Behavior Analysis, Clinical or School Psychology, or a related field. Applicant must be board certified in behavior analysis and license eligible as a psychologist or licensed mental health practitioner in Nebraska.
Assistant Professor faculty position will involve: 1) Overseeing the assessment and treatment of children with pediatric feeding disorders. 2) Conduct initial evaluations and triage patients to services. 3) Maintain a caseload of patients in day-treatment, outpatient, and Starting Early: Eating and Developmental Skills (SEEDS) program, although it is anticipated that the primary clinical responsibilities for this position will be in the SEEDS program. 4) Assist in the administration of the feeding program, including, but not limited to, hiring and training new employees; and developing, writing, implementing policies and procedures for the program, as well as grant writing. 5)  Participate in outreach activities in the community and develop and maintain a research agenda.
