Position Overview
The Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies in the University of Kansas School of Education and Human Sciences is searching for a tenure track, Assistant Professor position in K-12 educational administration. Responsibilities include teaching and conducting research in one or more of the following areas: educational business and finance, human resource management, or related studies within the field of educational administration. Candidate's research and professional practice should demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. This position is a full-time, academic year (9-month), tenure track appointment with a start date of August 18, 2022.

The University of Kansas is in Lawrence, a city with a population exceeding 95,000. The community is known for its support if the University, education, arts, and research and regularly appears in various “best town” listings. Lawrence is centrally located between the State of Kansas Capitol in Topeka and the major metropolitan community of Kansas City.
The successful candidate will teach courses on the main campus in Lawrence, Kansas and the KU Edwards campus in Overland Park (metro Kansas City). This position must be able to be physically present on KU’s Lawrence campus with scheduled office hours, on-campus instruction, committee meetings, etc. The successful candidate must be eligible to work in the U.S. by the time of appointment.
