Summary of Job Duties:
The primary responsibility of the candidate includes: Teaching: Engineering Fundamentals; Project Management; Construction Procedures, Advanced Robotics, Automation, Engineering Economics and Structural Design. Research/Innovation: Obtain grants that advance the mission of the university and department; Program and curriculum development activities; Advancement of department and academic programming; Department Advancement: Work on implementing an Industrial Manufacturing Engineering and Construction Project Management, Interdisciplinary, Multidisciplinary Engineering or other ABET accredited Engineering program for UAPB. Advising: Conduct assigned undergraduate courses; Academic advisor to students in department; Serve on college or university committees. Service: Off-campus, national and international learning opportunities such as practicums, internships and conferences; Render service to the professional or lay community which is relevant to the individual's academic specialty; Engage in scholarly activities, and/or creative endeavors which contribute to the academic mission of the university. Qualifications:

An earned doctorate in Engineering or related field required for the position.
