Summary of Job Duties:

This UAMS Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN) Pediatric Adolescent Gynecologist (PAG) faculty position will be responsible for patient care and administrative services for the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology in both inpatient and outpatient settings. In addition to clinical duties, the PAG faculty member will actively participate in the clinical education of twenty OBGYN residents and medical students. The PAG faculty member will also be expected to participate in research endeavors. The faculty member will need to be committed to being part of an organization that is focused on providing the best care for patients through a strong interdisciplinary approach, while also working to improve health disparities in the State of Arkansas. This position will offer competitive compensation while still retaining a lifestyle conscious approach with respect to call and clinical duties.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO
  • Completion of a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in an ACGME approved program
  • Completion of Fellowship in Pediatric Gynecology

Licenses, certificates, or registration

  • Valid AR state medical license as an MD or DO upon hiring
  • Valid DEA certificate upon hiring
  • Current BC/BE in Obstetrics and Gynecology (American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology)
