Summary of Job Duties:
The Assistant Professor position is expected to promote academic excellence, provide patient care (when applicable), search for translational opportunities, and promote the health & wellness of Arkansans.
Qualifications:
M.D. required.
Internal Medicine Residency.
Fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
Responsibilities:
Provides coordination, continuity, and consistency in patient care.
Performs varied responsibilities in the area of patient care. Duties will include but are not limited to direct patient care, medical teaching, and research collaborations.
Engage in clinical care and scholarly activities that advance clinical medicine.
Provides instruction to many individuals daily in a variety of methodologies, including but not limited to didactic bedside and clinical educational experiences.
