Summary of Job Duties:

The Assistant Professor position is expected to promote academic excellence, provide patient care (when applicable), search for translational opportunities, and promote the health & wellness of Arkansans.

Qualifications:

  • M.D. required.

  • Internal Medicine Residency.

  • Fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides coordination, continuity, and consistency in patient care.

  • Performs varied responsibilities in the area of patient care. Duties will include but are not limited to direct patient care, medical teaching, and research collaborations.

  • Engage in clinical care and scholarly activities that advance clinical medicine.

  • Provides instruction to many individuals daily in a variety of methodologies, including but not limited to didactic bedside and clinical educational experiences.
