Position Description
The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, University of Louisville School of Medicine, has an opening for a full-time tenure or term track faculty member in the Neuro-Ophthalmology Service. Applicants must have graduated from a fully-accredited ophthalmology residency, have training in an approved fellowship, and be certified or eligible for the American Board of Ophthalmology and licensure in the state of Kentucky. The successful candidate will have clinical and educational responsibilities in the department as well as with University of Louisville Physicians/UofL Health.
The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences is located in the University of Louisville Health - Eye Institute, on the campus of the University of Louisville Health Sciences Center. The University of Louisville Hospitals, University of Louisville outpatient facilities, Norton Hospital, and Norton Children's Hospital comprise the hospitals in the medical center complex. Our clinical faculty also operates at University of Louisville Medical Center East and Baptist Hospital East.
