Position Description:

The Department of Medicine at the University of Louisville is seeking a Gastroenterologist/Transplant Hepatologist to join the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition to engage in diverse clinical, and academic practice, including an active living donor liver transplant program and Research. The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor level. Qualified candidates must be board certified/board eligible in Hepatology and eligible for an unrestricted Kentucky medical license. Successful candidates will be expected to serve as attending on the general hepatology and liver transplant service and possess excellent teaching and clinical skills. The School of Medicine has medical students at each level, and the division faculty is actively engaged in the training of these medical students, as well as medical residents and GI fellows.
