The Division of Neonatology, University of Minnesota Medical School, is seeking a research scientist with training and experience in human milk and growth/body composition and neurodevelopmental outcomes for preterm infants. The Division invites applications for a tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in human milk composition, infant body composition, and neurodevelopment, as well as independently obtained research funding. This position will contribute to the Developmental Origins of Health and Disease research program in Neonatology.  
Research space and a competitive start-up package are included. The University of Minnesota Medical School provide a collaborative research environment that is well-suited for the mentorship and advancement of research scientists. Opportunities to participate in the educational mission of the Medical School and Department also exist.

⢠PhD in nutrition required 
⢠Postdoctoral training preferred 
⢠Prior experience as clinical dietitian preferred 
⢠Independent research funding preferred 
⢠Extensive training and experience in clinical research, human milk composition, stress assessment, body composition and neurodevelopmental assessments in the preterm infant population
⢠Experience in metabolomic analysis of human milk 
⢠Experience in longitudinal data analysis
