Position Description:

Applicants are invited for the position of tenure-track Assistant of Surgical Oncology, Department of Surgery, at the University of Louisville, School of Medicine. The Department of Surgery is seeking a Surgical Oncologist at the Assistant Professor level to join our Division of Surgical Oncology. The successful candidate must have completed Complex General Surgical Oncology Fellowship training at an ACGME accredited program and be eligible to sit for the American Board in Complex General Surgical Oncology.  Additionally, the ideal candidate will desire to conduct laboratory research and compete for independent funding.  Applicants are expected to have a genuine interest and commitment to Surgical Oncology research, and special consideration will be given for candidates with advanced research training, such as a PhD.  Questions about the position and/or the application process may be directed to Dr. Robert C.G. Qualifications

Qualified candidates should have a proven track record of peer-reviewed scholarship.
