Job Summary: |
The College of Arts & Media, Music and Entertainment Industry Studies has an opening for a full-time Tenure Track (unclassified) position. Teaching assignments will have a start date of August 2024, and will require a 40% teaching, 40% Research and 20% Service load. The incumbent will be accountable for teaching courses from the following list based on the candidate’s skills, related to music production, digital audio, live sound, surround sound, music synthesis, live sound, music technology, and audio for post-production, as well as any additional music courses as required by the MEIS Department and will need to possess the ability to teach undergraduate courses, graduate courses and engage in research, creative work, and service. The continuance of this appointment will be based on merit/performance, budget, academic needs, and enrollment numbers. Examples of Work Performed: Teaching (40%)

Salary: The salary range (or hiring range ) for this position has been established at $68,000 to $71,000. The above salary range (or hiring range ) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
