Assistant Professor/Team Leader of General Dentistry, Oral Health Promotion

Creighton University School of Dentistry is seeking a motivated individual as a Team Leader for the School's Group Practice Model.  The successful candidate for the 12-month, Assistant/Associate Professors, non-tenure, Clinician Educator track primary appointment will be in the Department of Oral Health Promotion, Division of Diagnostic Sciences. 

 

Position responsibilities include:

Directing and serving as a Team Practice leader and patient advocate in the school’s comprehensive team-based practice model

Supporting the delivery of the curriculum in preclinical courses and labs.

Administrative management of students within your team and their patient families as they matriculate toward graduation.

 


Qualifications:
  • Must have a DDS or DMD degree or an equivalent degree from an international program
  • Completion of an ADA accredited clinical specialty program
  • Successful completion of Part I and Part II of the National Board Dental Examination, prior to the date of hire
  • Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Nebraska and acquire credentialing from applicable third-party payer systems.
  • Candidates must also possess strong organizational and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a collegial, interdisciplinary environment.
  • Private Practice experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Participation in scholarly activity and service is encouraged.
