The Department of Communication Sciences & Disorders at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania is searching for a tenure-track Assistant Professor beginning Fall 2022 with expertise in one or more of the following areas: Swallowing Disorders; Cognitive-Communication Disorders; Speech & Hearing Science; Instrumentation in Speech/Voice Analysis; Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC); Clinical Practicum and Methods.

About the Department: The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders consists of 17 full- and part-time faculty and staff who teach and/or provide clinical supervision for students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate Speech-Language Pathology (M.S.) and Audiology (Au.D.) programs and a post-baccalaureate certificate program in Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring (IONM) https://www.bloomu.edu/offices-directory/communication-sciences-and-disorders . Faculty and staff benefit from state-of-the-art equipment in our clinical facilities, and opportunities for collaborative research and engagement in interprofessional education in our newly formed College of Health Sciences. Our in-house Speech and Hearing Clinic, in addition to our affiliate school sites, offer excellent opportunities for clinical research.
