Position Summary: 



The Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University is seeking to fill an Assistant Professor position in the School-Clinical Child Psy.D. Program . The position is a 9-month tenure-track faculty line beginning in September 2022. We are looking for an outstanding candidate with training and scholarship in either school or clinical child psychology.



Position Responsibilities: 



The position will involve:

  • Research/scholarship in a substantive area related to school psychology or child and adolescent psychology
  • Graduate teaching in areas of expertise
  • Supervision of doctoral research
  • Related program responsibilities


Experience & Educational Background: 


  • Applicants with graduate teaching and advising experience and a strong record of research productivity and potential for external funding are sought.
  • Area of scholarship is open, although we are particularly interested in candidates with an established research program involving diverse and/or underserved populations that fits with the Program’s commitment to train psychologists in the framework of anti-racism and social justice to disrupt structural inequities and amplify the voices of those historically marginalized in our field.

    The Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology is located on Yeshiva University's Resnick Campus approximately 7 miles from Manhattan, New York.  The School-Clinical Child Program is an APA-accredited and NASP-approved Doctor of Psychology Program. Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology offers three APA-accredited doctoral programs: Clinical PsyD, School-Clinical Child PsyD and Clinical PhD with an emphasis on Health Psychology, as well as an MA in Mental Health Counseling and MS in Marriage and Family Therapy. The Max and Celia Parnes Family Psychological and Psychoeducational Services Clinic is the training center of the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology and offers low-cost, state-of-the-art mental health services for children, adolescents, adults, couples and families in the Bronx and the Greater New York City area, especially those who cannot otherwise afford or access these services within the community.
