Position Description


Advertised Job Summary
The successful candidate will teach core courses in chemistry and polymer science at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The successful candidate is expected to establish a vigorous, internationally recognized, externally funded research program as part of the SmartState Center in Polymer Nanocomposites/Polymer.
Required Education and Experience
Ph.D. in chemistry, polymer science, or a closely related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. in chemistry, polymer science, or a closely related field. Candidates must have a strong background in using synthetic polymer chemistry (particularly catalysis) to address sustainability challenges in the areas of plastics, energy, and water treatment that complement research portfolios of current faculty.
