Position Summary
The Department of Surgery at the University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System, College of Medicine, is seeking a full-time Hand Surgeon to join our university based practice. The Assistant Professor/Physician Surgeon will join the Division of Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgery.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist the department with teaching medical students, residents, and fellows in Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgery
  • Provide clinical patient care
  • Participate in clinical research
  • Perform administrative duties as assigned
  • Qualifications:

    Minimum Qualifications
    M.D. degree, training in a Surgical Residency program, an Illinois medical license, and Board Certification in Surgery or eligibility for certification.

    Excellent skills in Hand and Reconstructive Surgery, as well as excellent communication skills.

    This is a large multi-person practice within a university hospital practice, and public hospital practice. Travel may be required between healthcare facilities.
