Position Description:

The Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation to join our esteemed faculty. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead as the Medical Director for Brain Injury Medicine within our institution. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing patient care, education, and research in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, with a specialized focus on brain injury medicine.

About Bluemound Hospital

A brand new, state-of-the-art, acute care hospital – serving as a “home before home” facility. Bluemound hospital in Wauwatosa, WI offers physical, occupational, and speech therapist as well as other rehabilitation services. The hospital also offers imaging, laboratory, pharmacy, a lounge, and kitchen and dining areas. Other services include specialty practices such as outpatient dermatology and skin cancer surgical services. Bluemound is 10 blocks from the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Position Requirements:

    • Board certification or eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
    • Eligibility for licensure in the state of Wisconsin.
    • Fellowship training in Brain Injury or ABPMR Brain Injury Certification and experience is a must.
    • Demonstrated commitment to teaching, education, and mentorship.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
