The Department of Pharmacology at University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago is seeking candidates for an Assistant Professor appointment in Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine. Candidates should have an outstanding record in areas such as: 1) stem cell biology; 2) differentiation signaling mechanisms; 3) genome editing tools in regenerative biology; 4) reprogramming; 5) lineage tracing analysis, or 6) regenerative medicine.



NIH funding is  recommended for Assistant Professor candidates. The department has strong research and training programs (http://mcph.uic.edu/home) and consistently ranks among the top 10. Successful candidate is expected to develop a competitive interdisciplinary research program. A highly competitive startup package will be offered



All candidates are required to have a PhD, MD or equivalent doctoral degree, as well as an outstanding publication record of the above mentioned departmental program areas.
