Job Summary:
Assistant Professor in the School of Psychology and Counseling with a specialty in Forensic Psychology. This position is for teaching in the Forensic Psychology Masters program. This position includes responsibility of teaching, research, and service. A track record of research and publishing in the field of general clinical and/or forensic psychology is sought. The eligible candidate must be a clinical PhD/PsyD with specialized training/experience in forensic practice and a license or license eligible. We are seeking an excellent teacher, research supervisor (to both MA and Clinical PhD students), and mentor for our students. The candidate should show interest in future leadership within the forensic psychology MA program.
Required Qualifications:
The School of Psychology and Counseling has two campuses in New Jersey. This position will be located on the Metropolitan Campus of Fairleigh Dickinson University in Northern New Jersey. The Metropolitan campus offers Doctoral Programs in Clinical and School Psychology; Master’s Programs in Psychopharmacology, Forensic Psychology, General Theoretical Psychology, and School Psychology; and an Undergraduate Program in Psychology with tracks in forensic psychology, mental health, organizational behavior, and consumer psychology. The Florham campus offers graduate programs in I/O Psychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
