Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience	Bachelor’s Degree plus CPA or Masters degree in area of teaching responsibility. The department’s world-class scholars publish their research in the field’s most prestigious journals as well as in journal dedicated to emerging areas of accounting such as continuous tax and auditing. As part of the business school at a major public research university, the Department of Accounting * Information Systems is committed to the advancement of knowledge and preparation of future leaders for business and academic careers through scholarly research, teaching and service as set forth below. The Accounting and Information Systems Department has 40 full time faculty members. The Rutgers Business School offers BS, MBA, Masters of Accountancy and a PH.D. program with two concentrations, one in accounting and one in accounting and information systems. Special Instructions to Applicants	Teaching responsibilities consists of eight 3-credit courses in the academic year 2024-2025 on the New Brunswick / Newark campus. Immunization Requirements

Under Policy 60.1.35 Immunization Policy for Rutgers Employees and Prospective Employees , Rutgers University requires all prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption. Rutgers University may require certain prospective employees to receive an updated (bivalent) vaccine dose.
