This opportunity to join the Department of Pediatrics at the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons at the rank of either Assistant Professor or Associate Professor is an exciting one. Columbia University Irving Medical Center, one of the nation’s foremost academic health science center’s working together with one of the nation’s premier health systems, New York-Presbyterian Hospital.

The Division of Pulmonology in the Department of Pediatrics is seeking an academic faculty member at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in Pulmonology with specific expertise in pulmonary diseases and the ability to expand our busy and growing Bronchoscopy service. Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The position will be a full-time Columbia University faculty position with full fringe benefits. The individual must have the ability to advance medical knowledge and translate it into clinically relevant strategies for the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary conditions. The individual will join an actively growing and expanding research and clinical operation covering a wide range of pulmonary disorders and research programs.  Responsibilities will include patient care, active participation in resident and fellowship education, and participation in clinical and/or basic research. The ideal candidate will be willing to train and learn Interventional Bronchoscopy techniques to help support the expansion of niche clinical programs in the division.
