The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Belmont University is seeking applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning August 1, 2024. 

Job responsibilities include teaching graduate level courses in professional counseling, marriage and family therapy, and/or school counseling, and serving on dissertation committees. Qualified applicants must be able to teach research and field experience courses. Additional responsibilities include academic advising, student mentoring, scholarly activity, and program, college, and university service.  A doctorate in counseling from a CACREP accredited counseling training program is required; teaching experience, licensure in marriage and family therapy, school experience, and divinity training strongly preferred.  As all Belmont mental health counseling graduates complete their degree with counseling licensure requirements from a CACREP accredited program, Belmont University is particularly seeking applicants who can demonstrate knowledge of CACREP standards and the interest and ability to teach courses required by the licensure and state education boards. Required Education A doctorate in counseling from a CACREP accredited counseling training program is required. Professional licensure in counseling, marriage and family therapy, pastoral therapy, or requirements for state licensure application must be met.
   
Required Experience Graduate level teaching experience in a counseling program, licensure in marriage and family therapy,K-12 school experience, and divinity training strongly preferred.
