Description: Carroll College, a Catholic liberal arts college located in Helena, Montana announces a tenure-track faculty position in mathematics beginning in August 2022. We seek engaging teachers who use interactive methods and current technologies and who would support our mathematical modeling-oriented program. The successful candidate will be interested in teaching a wide range of mathematics courses and directing senior honors theses. The ability and willingness to teach introductory statistics will be considered favorably. All areas of specialization will be considered, however special consideration will be given to candidates with a background in data science, statistics, operations research, or computer science. Responsibilities include teaching 24 semester hours per year, service, and professional development, broadly defined. Candidates with a doctorate in mathematics, statistics, or a closely related field preferred. 
The Mathematics Program at Carroll graduates 8-12 students per year, many of whom go on to graduate school in mathematics and related fields. The mathematics program also provides strong support to several disciplines on campus, particularly data science, computer science, physics, engineering, chemistry, and biology. Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a PH.D. or Master’s degree in Mathematics or closely related field.
