The Department of Linguistics at Cornell University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position of linguistics with a specialization in Phonology, to start in Fall 2023. The candidate will teach and advise at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
A secondary specialization including phonetics, laboratory phonology, morphology, computational linguistics, linguistic variation, psycholinguistics, or understudied or under-documented languages will be considered an asset.
Requirements include a PhD in Linguistics in hand prior to the start of the appointment, a strong background in linguistic theory, and demonstrated excellence in research and teaching.
