The Department of Cancer Immunology & Virology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Department of Immunology at Harvard Medical School invite applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. We are particularly interested in candidates with demonstrated potential for creativity and excellence who investigate the fields of cancer immunology and immunotherapy, with the long-term goal of developing novel approaches for the treatment of cancer.

Responsibilities

The academic appointment will be in the Department of Immunology at Harvard Medical School, which provides mentoring, the ability to closely interact with HMS scientists, and access to core resources. The position is funded and will be located at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The position provides an attractive start-up package and outstanding opportunities for collaboration with basic and translational investigators. Successful appointment to Assistant Professor will be based on evaluation of research experience, training, and achievements, including teaching activities. Candidates with an M.D., Ph.D., or M.D./Ph.D. are eligible to apply. Candidates will be expected to participate in the teaching activities of the Harvard Medical School for medical students, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows.
