Job Description

Department: Accounting and Finance Department 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Teaching and Curriculum Development: Deliver lectures and seminars in areas of finance such as corporate finance, investment analysis, financial markets, and risk management. Develop and update curriculum to reflect current trends and advancements in the field.

2. Research: Conduct high-quality research in finance, leading to publication in peer-reviewed academic journals. Collaborate with other faculty members on research projects and contribute to the school's research objectives.

3. Student Guidance: Advise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students. Supervise student projects, theses, and internships.

4. Academic Service: Participate in departmental and university committees. Engage in activities that contribute to the academic community, such as peer review, conference participation, and guest lectures.

5. Industry Collaboration: Build and maintain relationships with the financial industry to facilitate practical learning experiences for students and to stay abreast of industry developments.

6. Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest developments in finance through continuous professional development and scholarly activities.

Qualifications:

- PhD in Finance or a closely related field from an AACSB-accredited program.

- Demonstrated excellence in research, with a strong publication record.

- Proven experience in teaching at the university level.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Desirable Skills:

- Experience in utilizing advanced finance software and tools.

- Familiarity with online and blended teaching methodologies.

- Record of securing research funding.
