Job Description

The College of Engineering at West Texas A&M University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or a tenure-track Associate Professor position in Systems Engineering. Applicants must have an earned doctorate in mechanical engineering, systems engineering, agricultural systems or an appropriate closely related discipline. We invite applicants from all major engineering areas with a preference for those that have manufacturing and/or agricultural experience. The chosen candidate will be expected to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate level, actively seek research grants, participate in all aspects of the college’s mission, and serve the profession. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Applicants should consult the college’s web page to review our academic and research programs. Applicants will be evaluated based on current credentials as well as potential for future impact.
