Position Purpose
The School of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Central Missouri is accepting applications for one tenure-track position in Computer Science at the rank of Assistant Professor. The appointment will begin January 2023. We are looking for faculty excited by the prospect of shaping our school’s future and contributing to its sustained excellence.
Duties for this position will include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in computer science and developing new courses depending upon the expertise of the applicant and school needs, conducting research which leads toward peer-reviewed publications and/or externally funded grants, and program accreditation/assessment. Faculty are expected to assist with school and university committee work and service activities, and advising majors.
