In partnership with the UC Health academic healthcare system and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, College of Medicine’s faculty are transforming the world of medicine every day.

The College of Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine is looking to fill two (2) full time Assistant Professor of Clinical - GEO positions within our Division of Hospital Medicine. These positions will support the University’s mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our students, faculty, staff and all our activities.

 

UC Health Hospitalist Group at West Chester Hospital seeking two (2) board certified/prepared Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physicians to join our growing Hospitalist group.  West Chester Hospital is a community hospital, located just north of Cincinnati OH, with academic affiliation to the University of Cincinnati Health System.

 

Seeking candidates for two (2) dedicated daytime Hospitalist positions.  Schedule is a 7 on 7 off rotation with no nights. The program also has full-time Nocturnists, with additional “swing shift” coverage.  There is also 24hr Critical Care Services. 


Essential Functions

Duties will include responsibilities for the clinical, research and teaching activities for our students, residents, and fellows.


Minimum Requirements
  • Hospital residency training of 3 years or the equivalence by experience.
  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine or eligibility by training.
  • Advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) certification

Additional Qualifications Considered
  • Preference will be given to an individual with demonstrated leadership skills; chief residency training or similar accomplishment during residency training is preferred.
  • Academic productivity such as original research papers, abstracts, and chapters is also preferable.
