Job Summary:
The Maxwell Becton College of Arts and Sciences Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry and Physics at Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) invites applicants for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor rank beginning August 2022.
The department offers ACS certified BS degrees in Chemistry and Biochemistry in addition to a Master’s degree in Chemistry.
Required Qualifications:
The successful candidate will hold a Ph.D. degree in organic chemistry, biochemistry or related field, and preferably have postdoctoral research and teaching experience. 
 
The selected candidate is expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in their specialty and establish a research program to conduct original research for publication. The selected candidate is also expected to develop institutional grants. A record of grantsmanship is preferred.
 
Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check.  Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
