Position Description
The Department of Cell Biology at Harvard Medical School invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position. We seek researchers who define and address fundamental questions in cell biology, including the mechanistic analysis of cellular processes and the development, function, and dynamics of complex biological systems. We are also interested in researchers who are developing new technologies to explore and visualize cell biological processes.
Faculty in our department have diverse backgrounds and interests, including cellular, molecular, and structural biology, biochemistry, and neurobiology. Our successful candidate will become a member of the training faculty in the umbrella Biological and Biomedical Sciences (BBS) program, the largest of Harvard University’s biology Ph.D. programs, and will typically participate in additional, topic-specific Ph.D. programs within the Harvard Integrated Life Sciences (HILS) system.
The deadline for applications is Wednesday, October 12, 2022. Interviews will occur in two phases: first via video conference in January and then in-person in February/March.
