JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State Lehigh Valley invites applications for a faculty position Assistant Professor of Business, Tenure-Track, 36 weeks, beginning August 1, 2024, or as negotiated.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Teach three undergraduate courses per semester in the business baccalaureate degree program using traditional, hybrid, and online delivery modes (synchronous and asynchronous).

·         Teach introductory and advanced courses in finance, business analytics, and other related topics.

·         Publish in refereed journals.

·         Participate in professional organizations.

·         Advise students.

·         Participate in campus, university, and community service activities.

·         Previous job experience in teaching/industry, and interest in International Business a plus.

 

Qualifications:

·         AACSB accredited Doctorate in Finance or related field.

·         The position requires a terminal degree; must have demonstrated ability as a teacher or research worker; and must have a strong commitment to research excellence, with a proven track record of publications or the potential to publish in leading journals.

·         Candidates should have a degree completed by the offer letter date for a Fall 2024 start.
