Elon University located in Elon, North Carolina cordially invites applications for Assistant Professor Position in Business Analytics. This is a tenure-track position in the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business' Department of Management and Entrepreneurship, starting in Fall 2024. This position will teach graduate and undergraduate courses in business analytics (e.g., data mining, data visualization, machine learning, and database management). Elon University espouses a teacher-scholar-mentor mission.
Candidates are required to have earned a doctorate in Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, Operations Research, or a closely related discipline before the start date from an AACSB-accredited business school or have taught as a full-time faculty member at an AACSB-accredited business school for at least 18 months. Candidates are required to have completed coursework or teaching in areas central to management information systems, such as information management, machine learning, database management, and data visualization. Furthermore, the candidate must have successfully conducted academic research in areas related to business analytics, machine learning, or data visualization, as evidenced by peer-reviewed conference presentations or publications. The review of applications will begin on March 10 and continue until the position is filled.
