Job Summary
The Department of Biostatistics at the University of Kentucky is seeking applicants for a tenure-track, 12-month faculty positions at the assistant professor level. The successful candidate will conduct impactful collaborative research and contribute to training the next generation of biostatisticians, data scientists, and public health researchers. Responsibilities associated with the position include independent methodological and collaborative research, teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels, mentorship, and service to the University and the field. A Ph.D. in biostatistics, statistics, or a related area is required.

Biostatistics faculty have active research programs within multidisciplinary research centers and institutes, including the Center for Clinical and Translational Science, Kentucky Injury Research and Prevention Center, Sanders-Brown Center on Aging, Center for Health Equity Research, Center for Research on Violence Against Women, Barnstable Brown Diabetes Center, Center on Drug and Alcohol Research, and Institute for Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy. We seek a team scientist who is capable of growing methodological expertise and biostatistics capacity by contributing to collaborative opportunities within research centers and partnerships across campus.
