The Department of Meteorology and Climate Science at San José State University invites applications for an Assistant Professor, tenure-track position in atmospheric or climate changes that complements existing departmental expertise in wildfire weather, cloud physics, climate change, climate education research, mesoscale and synoptic meteorology. We highly encourage candidates with specialization in any area including, but not limited to, the following to apply: air quality and air quality responses to climate change, atmospheric composition, atmospheric chemistry, atmospheric pollution, global and/or regional climate modeling, drivers of regional climate change, or paleoclimatology.
