The Menninger Clinic is seeking a Sleep Medicine Physician to join our excellent team of professionals.   We are searching for a physician who has completed a sleep medicine fellowship and is board-eligible or board-certified to be the medical director of the sleep medicine program. While a full-time appointment is preferred, a part-time position will be considered for the applicant who is the best fit for the program.  The physician will be responsible for the evaluation and management of assigned patients. This includes coordinating and monitoring utilization management, planning and coordinating the transition of patients through the continuum of care, and maintaining appropriate communication with required agencies and individuals throughout treatment.

Must have an MD or DO degree with completion of an approved residency in general psychiatry or internal medicine (with or without pulmonary/critical care subspecialty). Completion of an approved fellowship in sleep medicine. Board-certified or board-eligible for certification in sleep medicine by various specialty boards, including the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or American Board of Internal Medicine. Must work effectively with interdisciplinary teams and possess knowledge of therapeutic modalities employed by team members and the assigned clinical program; and current CPR certification.  Preferred: current license to practice medicine in the State of Texas; and five (5) years of post-residency work experience in related area of specialty.
