Job SummaryThe School of Allied Health is seeking Assistant Professor for Medical Laboratory to begin Fall 2024.
The Assistant Professor has the primary responsibility of instruction in the classroom for students enrolled in Medical Laboratory and Phlebotomy courses, as well as ensuring the success and retention of students while maintaining high academic standards.
This is a Safety Sensitive position pursuant to Oklahoma Statute OKLA. STAT. tit. 63, § 427.8 (2020) .
Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree required in Medical Laboratory Science or Related Field.
MLS or MT (ASCP) Certification.
Experience in some of the laboratory sections such as hematology, microbiology, phlebotomy, chemistry, blood bank, and urinalysis.
Three years bench experience.
Philosophy compatible with that of a comprehensive urban community college.
Preferred QualificationsExperience working with students in a clinical setting.
Technical Specialty and/or Master’s Degree preferred.
