Faculty position in Psychology at the University of Utah Asia Campus
The Department of Psychology at the University of Utah invites applications for a career-line faculty position (non-tenure-track), to join our growing international team at the University of Utah Asia Campus (UAC) in Incheon, South Korea (https://songdo.utah.edu/). Our program has a richly diverse faculty and welcomes those who have diverse backgrounds and have teaching and scholarly interests and philosophies that seriously address inclusion, diversity, and equity. All teaching and interactions with students and faculty are conducted in English; no knowledge of the Korean language is required.
Qualifications: Applicants with a Ph.D. in Psychology and experience in any area of Psychology are encouraged to apply, but we are especially interested in candidates who are able to teach undergraduate courses in Introductory Psychology, Research Methods, and/or Statistics. The primary focus of this position is undergraduate teaching (seven courses per year), but candidates with research programs who can also supervise undergraduate research will be given preference. This position is open to applications at all academic ranks.
Appointment and Starting Date: We anticipate an initial 12-month appointment for the 2023-2024 academic year (July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024), with renewable appointments at the UAC upon satisfactory performance reviews.
Benefits: Salary is commensurate with experience. All full-time employees are provided a health benefit plan. This position requires relocation to South Korea and housing is provided for UAC employees. Personal and professional travel expenses are also provided by the UAC.

Location: This position is located at the University of Utah Asia Campus (UAC) in Incheon (Songdo area), South Korea (http://songdoibd.com/ ). The University of Utah is one of the founding institutions of the Incheon Global Campus (IGC), along with Ghent University, George Mason University, and Stony Brook University (SUNY). All UAC students spend three years studying at the UAC in South Korea and one year studying in Salt Lake City. All graduating students at UAC receive a University of Utah degree.
