Preferred Qualifications
-Experience in mechatronics and controls;
-Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level;
-Demonstrated excellence in research and other scholarly activity;
Job Specific Required Qualifications
-Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field;
-ABD with completion by time of appointment will be considered;
-Ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in dynamic systems and controls, robotics, mechatronics, autonomous vehicles, and advanced mobility systems;
-Ability to use modern Engineering tools for teaching and research;
-Ability to develop an externally funded applied-research program;
-Demonstrated written and oral communication skills in the English language;
-Ability and desire to contribute through department, university, community and professional service work.
