Job Description:

Required Qualifications

  • BC/BE in Internal Medicine

  • BC/BE in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interest/Expertise in Clinical trial development.

Job Duties:

  • Provide medical care to Myeloma patients in an outpatient clinic and share in the rotation of inpatient coverage, including weekend and on-call coverage.

  • Train and educate medical students, residents, and fellows in patient care settings as well as in formal and informal group education formats.

  • Provide support for the growth and development of multidisciplinary hematology/myeloma teams.

  • Attend Hematology/Oncology conferences, journal clubs, etc. Present teaching lectures to residents, medical students, fellows.

  • Support the departmental and divisional research efforts including clinical trial accrual and development and research mentoring.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by Division Chief and Department Chair.
