Position Summary | Gannon University seeks an Assistant Professor – Speech-Language Pathology at its Ruskin, FL, campus, responsible for teaching courses in the Speech Language Pathology Program. Responsibilities include: (i) teaching and delivering instruction to students, including employing sound pedagogical practices and using technology, as appropriate; (ii) performing clinical supervision; (iii) assisting, advising, and mentoring graduate students in academic and clinical aspects of professional growth; (iv) engaging in scholarly pursuits pertinent to the academic discipline, including active research; (v) participating in ongoing professional development; and (vi) serving the University, profession and community through the attendance of convocations, commencement exercises, and community meetings. |
Required Qualifications | Must have a PhD or ABD in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or another Health Science related academic discipline, plus two (2) years of clinical experience. Must also possess or be eligible for Florida licensure in SLP. Must also have demonstrated evidence of effective teaching methods and productive scholarship in the field.
