The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at North Dakota State University invites applications a tenure-track faculty position, Medicinal Chemistry at the rank of Assistant Professor, with appointment beginning on or after August 16, 2019. Candidates should have at least two years of postdoctoral experience with a strong record of scholarship, and possess good interpersonal skills and effective written and oral communication skills. Preference will be given to applicants with training and research expertise in broad aspects of Pharmaceutical Sciences, as well as with a strong teaching experience. The successful candidate will be expected to establish an externally funded research program, teach and mentor graduate students. Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or closely related field. Responsibility includes teaching basic level Pharmaceutical Organic Chemistry to undergraduate pre-Pharmacy students.
